Jesus H!

I feel sort of lame for not blogging since March. Even though I'm pretty sure no one reads this. So I'll just start blogging to myself. I have had so many things I wanted to blog about but just never got around to it. There is just so much going on in the lesbian community TV wise and I think it amazing. So things are good and others not so much but its so great just to be represented. Of course there was the L Word, which was so great but that was on Showtime so not a lot of people were able to watch and be educated. But now after the ground breaking show we are being represented on Network Television. There are so many show like Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, House, Flashforward and many more. But unfortunately many shows take advantaged for ratings which is just stupid. And there are more movies coming out with lesbian story lines. Not just indepent films which are not hugely mainstreamed in Hollywood. The one film I am most looking forward to is The Kids Are Alright starring the gorgeous Julianne Moore and Annette Bening. So I can't wait to see that. And I am going to do another post dedicated to Julianne Moore which I am very excited about. So til next time, stay gay ladies!

Katherine and Robin

Tomorrow I am getting together with a friend to watch the new episode of Desperate Housewives and I am especially excited for 2 reasons. 1. I finally get to watch Desperate with someone who is always equally excited as me about Desperate and she loves lesbians. Which brings me to my second reason: the wonderful new story line between Katherine and Robin. Which is going to be HOT! These two women are unbelievably sexy. Dana Delany who plays Katherine is 54 today. Happy Birthday Dana! Anyways she is sexy and looks absolutely amazing for age. I myself love older women and I love Dana Delany. Now on to Julie Benz, wow! I love everything about her, she has this incredible low sort of husky sexy voice that makes me just want to mount her. And she has a bangin' body along with being blonde. I love blondes. These two are a match made in heaven. Benz' character Robin was a stripper who quit her job because Susan said that she could be whatever she wanted to be and so she did. Then Robin moved in with Susan but it became a little awkward when she was helping Mike out with his back. Now Katherine just out of the loony bin needed a room mate in that big house of hers. With Robin on the streets and Katherine in need of company; Robin moves in. After unpacking they go out for a drink . These two guys invite them to their table and while at the table they can't stop hitting on Robin. Robin seeing that Katherine is upset she said, "Well, in that case I'll just keep her all to myself." Then this wonderful thing happens. And they proceed to walk out. As they are drinking at home Robin mentions that she was a lesbian. Robin says,"You are okay with this, its not going to effect anything between us?" Katherine responds, "I don't see why it would." Then Robin sexily walks up the stairs and cut to Katherine with a look on her face as in "What have I gotten myself into?" Now the last Sunday's episode was an episode to remember. One of the first scenes is Robin walking down the stairs in just a bra and underwear with an open robe. Katherine made french toast and she gives her hot syrup. Robin accidently gets some on her bra, as she licks it off with her finger Katherine can't resist and she walks over to Robin and says, "I'll get it." Then cut to Katherine waking up. Damn it!

Unfortunately it was a dream. Later on while Katherine it talking to her therapist about her dream and he says that for the sake of her recovery she needs to tell Robin to move out. So later that night when Robin comes home she says she needs to tell her something but before Katherine can Robin says she just got a job and they should celebrate. Robin opens up a champange bottle and spills it ALL over her shirt she begins to take it off. There Robin with no shirt on, Katherine blurts out, "You need to move out!" Robin is upset and doesn't know if she did something wrong and says that she has a friend she could stay with. Then Katherine says, "Robin, you haven't done anything wrong. I like you very much, in fact too much. Lately I have started to have feelings for you and I don't understand. Its confusing me. You know what I'm saying." Robin then says, "I do, I'm having those feelings for you too. You're right, I should go." As Robin walks up the stairs Katherine is left alone and she looks around and has a questionable look on her face. Then she slowly walks up the stairs into Robin's room.

Katherine closes the door and walks towards Robin and they both have a look on their faces. Mary Alice does the end commentary and we are left with this.
How wonderful! But unfortunately these two may not last for long because both Julie Benz and Dana Delany have done separate pilots for other shows, in this business who know if they will last long or get picked up. Either way I will be watching because I will always support Dana and Julie. Marc Cherry the creator, writer, and executive producer of the show says that he will not kill of Katherine so that gives us hope that she will return. Dana Delany said that she is going to finish the season; they are now in season 6, tomorrows episode will be number 17. I will enjoy these two beautiful women while it lasts.

Gay VS Straight

Statement: Oh she had a boob job.
Straight answer: oh really, that's crazy.
Dyke answer: oh yeah I noticed.
I found myself in this situation just the other day and it is very interesting how every answer can be answered in two ways: straight or gay. Of course me being a lesbian I answer gay. But the mindset of different people is rather interesting to me. So saying that, always know your boob jobs ladies!

Lady Trapped

I recently watch the latest episode of Cougar Town starring the stunning Courteney Cox, who I absoletly adore and is very funny. I grew up watching Friends and that became my favorite show I would turn to when ever I was down. After Friends ended in 2004 Courteney Cox had another show Dirt which only lasted 2 seasons and now hopefully Cougar Town will last longer. It has great writing and some hot ladies. Ellie played by Christa Miller is one sexy and sassy lady. I love her character along with Busy Philips' character. And I love the name Busy, you don't hear that often. Anyways during Thursday's episode Jules said something about Gay Traps so throughout the episode they had some Gay Traps which were quiet humorous. And I myself was caught in a Gay Lady Trap along with Ellie. Man, do I wish Ellie was gay. Jules said something about a song Closer to Fine and that she couldn't remember the band and emmidatly Ellie shouted THE INDGO GIRLS! And I along with Ellie said The Indgo Girls because every lesbian the Indgo Girls and the song Closer to Fine.

The Beginning of Thoughts

So this is my first blog ever and I am not sure who will ever read this or if anyone will. But I have so many thoughts that need to be shared so I thought this was a good way to start. Most things I will probably talk about are television; its one of my favorite things because watching these show I find a way to connect to them and they are just wonderful for Cooler Talk. And the other thing I that will be included in my blog is women. I love women, everything about them makes me crazy... in a good way. So this is my journey into the blogging world and the world of women.
